Guiding Mid-career Professionals to Jobs They Love

Meet Carly

The beginning of my life’s work. In 2003, after many years of building my career in human resources and recruiting, I began my journey as an internal coach with the professional services firm, Deloitte. I immediately knew I had discovered my purpose. Coaching brought together my natural talents, my interests in helping individuals increase their self-awareness and take action towards making positive changes in their lives and my values of connecting deeply with others and inspiring them.

Over nearly six years, my professional coaching career at Deloitte took me down many paths – I worked with hundreds of individuals to navigate career changes, become better managers and leaders and work more effectively with their team members.

From these experiences, I came to believe lasting change is possible. You can find happiness and fulfillment in your career without sacrificing those things that are most important to you in your life.

I see it in the successes of my clients, and I’m living proof. In 2008, an internal re-organization pushed me into a new role. The disconnect I felt was immediate, and it wasn’t long before I realized the demands of my new role drew me away from my natural talents and were causing me to neglect the things in my life that were most important. So, I took a leap of faith. I left behind job-security, benefits and a stable paycheck to fulfill my dream of starting my own coaching business and returning to my life’s work. It’s been a challenging, yet immensely rewarding experience that has brought with it more happiness and fulfillment than I ever thought possible. Now I am dedicated to paying it forward and helping individuals along their career and life journeys.

By nature I am intuitive, passionate and energetic. I bring over 15 years of coaching, leadership development, and recruiting experience to work for my clients. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boston University. In addition, I have extensive training and certification in coaching for individuals, relationships and teams through Coach U, Team Coaching International, and Center for Right Relationships. I am also certified in various assessment tools such as MBTI, Lominger Leadership Architect, VOICES 360, and Team Diagnostics.

When I’m not working with clients or building my business, I love playing with my children, being in my garden or in my kitchen cooking and eating great food, especially in the company of amazing people. I’m married to the love of my life and best friend, Paul. We are the very proud parents of our daughter Margaret and our son Wade. Together we enjoy our days living in historic Boston and whenever possible, recharging our batteries in the mountains of upstate New York.
